Sister Pickers started with two sisters, a shared love of vintage, rustic, and farmhouse finds — and maybe just a tiny obsession with the thrill of the hunt. One of us calls small-town Okotoks home, while the other is tucked away in Vernon in the heart of the Okanagan. We may be miles apart, but nothing keeps sisters connected like chippy paint and a good roadside antique stop.
Together, we road-trip our way through British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, hunting down timeworn treasures with character, charm, and stories to tell. If it’s weathered, well-loved, and a little rough around the edges — we’re interested.
We live for the before-and-after. Thrifting, repainting, and repurposing forgotten pieces into something beautiful again is our happy place. Most of our finds make their way to markets for others to enjoy… although let’s be honest, a few favourites somehow “accidentally” stay with us.
But this journey isn’t just about what we find — it’s about the memories we make along the way. Some of our picking adventures include our mom, which means plenty of laughter, storytelling, snack breaks, and sisterly debate over who spotted the best treasure first.
Add in a lifelong love for all things horsey and a touch of country spirit, and you’ve found Sister Pickers.
Come along for the ride. There’s always room in the truck for one more thing!
